Find where you belong!
Are you a qualified chartered accountant looking to take your next step in a dynamic and supportive environment? We’re on the lookout for a Group Reporting Accountant to play a vital role in delivering high-quality external financial reporting and driving key finance initiatives forward.
This is a 6 month FTC.
What’s it all about?
In this role, you’ll work closely with our Group Reporting Manager to produce accurate and timely external financial statements, while helping to migrate our reporting to K Trinity, our new accounts software. You’ll take ownership of producing draft financial statements, collaborating with auditors to incorporate feedback, and updating the drafts accordingly.
You will also assist in month-end accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, help prepare statutory and group management accounts and support external advisors. You’ll be someone who thrives in a collaborative environment—this role will see you working alongside the Management Accounts team and the wider finance function to keep everything running smoothly.
Why Travelodge?
We believe in creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can be their true self and belong. We work hard to improve the diversity of our teams and celebrate our differences. We call this “Better Me".
Who will this appeal to?
You’re a qualified chartered accountant with strong experience in financial accounting and audit—either from practice or within a fast-paced, multi-site business.
You’re a confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior leaders and challenging constructively when needed. You have a sharp eye for detail, a drive for continuous improvement, and enjoy bringing structure and clarity to complex financial processes.
