Group Reporting Manager (12-Month FTC)
About the Role
We’re looking for a Group Reporting Manager to join an international finance team on a 12-month fixed term contract. You’ll lead technical accounting and financial reporting across multiple regions, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal policies. You’ll manage one direct report, coordinate the group audit process, and prepare key technical papers for senior leadership and the audit committee.
This is a high-impact role requiring strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead group technical accounting and reporting under IFRS.
- Manage the year-end audit process and liaise with the auditors.
- Prepare and review key reports: impairments, going concern, viability, pensions.
- Draft technical papers for the audit committee and senior leadership.
- Collaborate with regional finance teams to ensure consistent accounting treatment.
- Mentor one direct report and support their development.
- Drive process improvements and support SAP BPC implementation.
- Work 2–3 days per week in the London office (3 during peak periods).
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Accountant with post-qualification experience.
- Background in Big Four audit and senior-level reporting roles.
- Technical expertise in IFRS and its practical application in a global organisation.
- Experience managing audits and preparing technical accounting papers.
- Confident communicator with the ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- SAP BPC experience would be beneficial but not essential.
