Group Tax Manager

CRC Evans (“CRCE”) is a leading global expert in the provision of welding and coating services and operates in several jurisdictions around the world. With private equity backing and strong growth ambitions, CRCE is evolving its strategy and market focus to play a leading role in the energy transition. Having hired a Group Tax Director in 2025, we are now seeking a motivated Group Tax Manager to join our dynamic Finance team based in either our Aberdeen or Edinburgh office. This is a value-adding role, working closely with the Group Tax Director to deliver exceptional tax services to our stakeholders.

Major Responsibilities:

• Managing all aspects of corporate tax filings for the Group globally, including managing relationships within the finance team and with external advisers.
• Preparation of the tax provision and associated disclosures for inclusion in the Group’s consolidated and individual statutory financial statements
• Assisting the Group Tax Director with developing and maintaining transfer pricing documentation and policies in line with OECD guidelines.
• Supporting tax audits in the UK and overseas.
• Providing stewardship advice to the Group in respect of VAT and employment tax filings.

Job Specific Education Required:

• Qualified Accountant or Tax Adviser, with a minimum of 3 years experience

Work Experience Required:

• Broad experience of UK tax and tax accounting
• International tax experience is beneficial but not essential

• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to communicate Tax matters to the right people, with the right information, in the right way, at the right time

• Occasional travel for business meetings
