Group Work Support Volunteer
What You’ll Do
Purpose of role
- As a Group Work Support Volunteer, you will play an instrumental role in supporting the facilitator in the planning and preparation of groups.
- This will include promoting groups to service users, reminding them of up-and-coming sessions and engaging with those who do not attend.
- You will be provided with training and supported to eventually be able to take the lead in delivering some of the groups and provide one to one support to clients within the group setting.
- You will also play a key role in the review and development of session materials including content, handouts and delivery
