About The Role
We’re seeking a proactive and passionate HSE Coordinator to support our Health, Safety, and Environmental efforts at our Flixton site – a high-performing, fast-paced operation specialising in meat processing. As a key part of a critical supply chain, this site plays an essential role in ensuring quality and safety in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their HSE career to work closely with our site teams across production, engineering, quality, and technical. You’ll help ensure compliance, support audits and investigations, and promote a strong safety culture throughout the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits and ensure site compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Support accident prevention and lead investigations when incidents occur
- Participate in machinery interventions and safety checks
- Promote a strong health and safety culture onsite
- Work closely with the site HSE Manager and rest of the site.
- Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
About You
This is a great role for an individual looking to develop or kick start their career in HSE within food manufacturing. You’ll be collaborative, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a positive safety culture in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Key Skills & Experience
- Experience in the food industry is essential; FMCG experience will also be considered
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for HSE and a desire to grow in the field
- Willingness to undertake further qualifications – support available for IOSH and NEBOSH
- Knowledge of environmental compliance is a plus
- Flexibility and a hands-on approach
