The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking workshop Labourer to join our team. The workshop Labourer will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day production processes, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and performing a variety of tasks to support the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Paint touch up
- Cleaning/tidying workshop
- Paint masking
- Delivery and pick up of goods from suppliers
- Organisation of workshop
- Supporting 6s improvement activities
- Maintaining workshop with painting etc
- Assisting stores personnel with Wrap and Pack parts to specification and send to Special Process Vendors as required
- General labouring duties as required
- Assisting in quarterly WIP checks
Job Requirements
- Experience in a fast-paced Environment would be advantageous
- Able to manage multiple tasks with a bias towards action and speed
- High Degree of flexibility required
- Liaises effectively with wider cross functional team to ensure targets are met.
- Constantly displays integrity and respect
- Actively engages in discussions and openly supports team decisions
- Maintain a positive attitude in order to positively influence the process improvement activities throughout the organization
- The individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Preferred
- Forklift Licence
- Driving Licence
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Software, Excel in particular
