Description
What You'll Do
- Design and implement high-assurance systems in Haskell.
- Build and maintain web UIs in PureScript, focused on reliability and performance.
- Develop systems for odds calculation, risk modeling, and bet settlement.
- Collaborate with product, trading, and compliance teams to meet business requirements.
- Help evolve our functional programming practices and tooling.
- Write tests, documentation, and clear, maintainable code.
Tech Stack
- Back-end: Haskell (Servant, Persistent, STM, Conduit)
- Front-end: PureScript (Halogen or React Basic), TypeScript (light use)
- Infrastructure: PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, AWS
- Tooling: Nix, Spago, GitHub Actions, Grafana
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency in Haskell, or another typed FP language with willingness to learn.
- Experience building production systems (ideally with financial logic or real-time data).
- Familiarity with PureScript or strong front-end FP skills.
- Comfort with functional programming concepts: monads, functors, ADTs, etc.
- Attention to detail and a drive to build robust, high-quality software.
- Bonus: Experience in fintech, betting, gaming, or regulated industries.
