The opportunity

As the Head of AI Product at OKRA.ai, you will play a critical role in designing, improving and developing solutions using the leading AI engine for healthcare and life sciences. As a key member of our team, you will lead the development of products that meet user needs and deliver exceptional user experiences. You will take ownership of the product roadmap and strategy, shaping, managing, and coordinating its execution. Working closely with our team, who have a strong track record of translating cutting-edge machine learning research into successful real-world applications, you will help turn visionary ideas into commercial success.

This is a hybrid working opportunity from either our Cambridge, UK or Leiden, Netherlands office.

Role responsibilities

• Own and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap across clinical, medical, and commercial domain
• Lead and mentor the product team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Partner with executive leadership to define and implement AI-driven product strategies that align with the company's long-term vision and growth objectives.
• Work closely with GTM teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) to ensure product-market fit, support launch activities, and develop compelling messaging and positioning.
• Translate complex AI capabilities into clear business value propositions. Effectively communicate ROI and key value drivers to internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and investors.
• Define success metrics and collaborate with clients to achieve desired outcomes through AI-driven insights and solutions.
• Drive end-to-end product delivery by managing the full lifecycle of AI solutions across internal and external initiatives. Oversee strategic portfolio prioritisation, coordinate release management across workstreams, and ensure alignment with client needs and successful adoption.
• Champion user-centred design by crafting intuitive, impactful experiences that drive engagement and satisfaction.

Do you have what we are looking for?

Skills & expertise

• Extensive experience in product management within B2B environments, with a strong understanding of the full product lifecycle
• Professional experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry preferred
• Demonstrated success in leading and mentoring cross-functional, outcome-focused product teams within agile environments
• Proficient in product increment planning, scrum methodologies, and embracing an agile mindset
• Familiarity with the integration of artificial intelligence into user-facing applications
• Strong enthusiasm for defining, tracking, and leveraging Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive product success
• Hands-on experience with data analytics and applying insights to inform product decisions
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, particularly in the context of product development and delivery
• Experience working with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies would be highly beneficial.
