Lloyd’s is seeking a strategic Head of Capital Relationships & Solutions to lead our capital advocacy and innovation agenda. This is a unique opportunity for a senior actuary with deep capital markets knowledge and a passion for structuring solutions that unlock new investment pathways.
About The Role
As part of the CFO Leadership Team, you’ll be at the forefront of Lloyd’s capital strategy—educating institutional investors, collaborating with Managing Agents, and driving the evolution of our London Bridge platform. You’ll lead external engagement, influence internal policy, and build a high-performing team to deliver innovative capital solutions.

- Champion Lloyd’s to third-party institutional investors through global roadshows and industry events.
- Develop and execute stakeholder engagement strategies with brokers, banks, investors, and rating agencies.
- Lead education and advocacy for the London Bridge risk transformation platform.
- Collaborate with internal teams (tax, legal, investments, commercial) to structure bespoke capital solutions.
- Participate in Lloyd’s deal committee and support syndicate applications involving third-party capital.
- Identify and resolve regulatory or procedural barriers to capital entry.
- Build and lead a cross-functional team to support capital innovation.
We’re specifically seeking a Commercial Actuary with:
- Proven experience in capital structuring, investment banking, or insurance-linked securities.
- Highly developed analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of capital markets and regulatory frameworks.
- A track record of leading complex financial projects and delivering results.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or related field
