Head of Centre to work as part of our College Nursery Management Team. Our Nursery Manager manages both campus nurseries and we are recruiting a Head of Centre to lead our busy nursery at
Anniesland Campus , ensuring the highest standards of care, learning, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Work a part of the Nursery Management Team to ensure excellent service delivery to our children, parents, carers and stakeholders
- Lead and motivate a team to deliver a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
- Manage day-to-day operations, rotas, and performance, ensuring quality compliance with Care Inspectorate and Education Scotland standards
- Drive continuous improvement using How Good is our Early Learning and Childcare and Realising the Ambition frameworks
- Ensure educational planning and delivery meets individual needs, supporting staff in inclusive, child-centred practice
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring clear communication and meaningful involvement
About You
- Hold, or are working towards, a BA in Childhood Practice (SCQF Level 9) or equivalent
- Have experience in supervising early years staff and delivering the 35 curriculum
- A confident communicator with excellent problem-solving, advocacy, and leadership skills
- Committed to professional development and creating a positive, collaborative environment
