SALARY: £60K


We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Head of Commercial to lead all revenue driving activity across sales, performance marketing, partnerships, franchising and expansion. You’ll work closely with the CEO to turn ambition into scale, and scale into sustainable, measurable success.


This role calls for a commercially driven operator with sharp instincts, strategic vision, and an entrepreneurial mindset. Someone who knows how to get in the room, win trust, and secure the deal, but who is also led by performance metrics, unit economics, and smart growth strategy. You’ll manage a small commercial team, own our CRM and reporting, and act as the driving force behind our commercial engine.


You’ll also bring a vital shift in mindset: evolving the current brand-led culture into a commercially driven one. You’ll lead your team to pitch with clarity, negotiate with confidence, and work toward targets, conversions, and measurable outcomes. Your job is to turn potential into performance.


Key Responsibilities


Commercial Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, ensuring alignment with Taste Film's objectives and market trends.
  • Leverage Fever data to inform strategy across listings optimisation, upsell opportunities, and key campaign performance metrics.
  • Leverage the company’s CRM system (Dot Digital), ensuring all leads and opportunities are tracked, qualified, and actioned.
  • Develop and execute a clear, structured commercial strategy across ticket sales, brand partnerships, performance marketing, franchising and expansion.
  • Own revenue forecasting and lead weekly commercial performance updates alongside the CFO.


Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor the Marketing Manager and Partnerships Manager, building a focused, collaborative team culture that values data, accountability, and strategic experimentation, all aligned around clear commercial goals.
  • Lead the creation and execution of compelling pitches, guiding the team in developing engaging proposals and using strong negotiation skills to secure partnerships, sponsorships, and franchise deals.
  • Introduce clear sales targets, pipeline reviews, and performance tracking.
  • Encourage cross-functional thinking between sales and marketing, with a shared focus on conversion, yield, and audience growth.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, offering constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for professional development.


About You

You’re commercially sharp, outcome-driven, and thrive in high-performance environments. You cut through complexity, focus on what moves the needle, and deliver results. You think in numbers, act on data, and don’t wait for permission to get things done. You know how to turn a big idea into a clear plan and a clear plan into measurable growth. You’ll be the company’s commercial backbone and the CEO’s most critical partner in growth. 


You’ll likely have:

  • 3+ years in commercial growth, business development, or strategic partnerships, ideally in events, hospitality, entertainment, or consumer brands.
  • Experience leading a team and aligning marketing + sales with CRM and commercial objectives.
  • A deep understanding of how to manage a CRM system and track full-funnel performance.
  • Strong writing, pitching, and interpersonal skills and you can close deals and bring others with you.
