We’re looking to speak with experienced Head of Cyber Security professionals who want to own, build and mature a cyber function within a fast‑moving, pragmatic organisation.

This is a permanent opportunity for someone who is comfortable being hands‑on initially, developing a small team, and shaping a security function that genuinely supports the business, not just compliance.

Key responsibilities & experience:

• Leading and developing a small Cyber Security team, uplifting capability and confidence
• Hands‑on management in the early stages, with a clear path to maturity
• Strengthening security posture following previous cyber incidents
• Moving beyond tick‑box compliance to risk‑led, outcome‑focused security
• Assessing current risks early on and building clear, pragmatic business cases
• Managing and optimising third‑party security partners (e.g. MDR / SOC)
• Balancing strategic direction with operational delivery in a time‑poor environment
