The Role
Club L London are one of the UK top fashion brands. Reporting into the Chief Technology Officer, we are looking for a talented Head Of Development to join our growing tech team. This role is based out of our Manchester HQ, with 1 day a week working from home. If you enjoy working in a fast paced environment, problem solving with talented colleagues then this is the ideal role for you.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage & grow the development team (Front-end & Back-end Developers)
- Take ownership and oversight of existing integrations, working with the team on ongoing improvements
- Guide the team on architecture, development & maintenance of future integrations
- Work closely with the Data Team building big data systems & tools
- Work closely with the CTO on team & project planning
Essential
More about you
- 6+ years of development experience (Fullstack: Node, HTML, CSS, JS)
- 2+ years experience of managing a team
- Experience using a frontend dynamic template framework (Liquid, Vue, Handlebars or similar)
- Experience working with an e-commerce brand
- Previous experience with version control (Git or similar) and serverless environments (AWS or similar)
- Knowledge of architecting resilient systems
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Good communication skills
Desirable:
- Shopify experience
- Qualification or demonstrable experience within Project Management
