Head of Energy Partnerships

📍 Primarily remote with 3 days per month in London office to coincide with full team onsites (travel and accomodation paid)

The opportunity

Goodlord is a multi-award-winning UK's Best Workplace on a mission to deliver the best renting experience in the world. We’re searching for a Head of Energy Partnerships, reporting to the Director of Consumer Partnerships, to help us take our Energy proposition to its next phase.

This is a Head of role with a deliberately tight and hands-on remit:

• You’ll own a single strategic partnership (OVO Energy) not a portfolio of dozens
• You'll lead a small, high-performing team of three IC's (2 x BDE and 1 x Ops Analyst)
• You'll work closely with our Tech & Product team to evolve a single core product area
• You’ll be directly accountable for one P&L, one core revenue stream & end to end proposition

It's an ideal role for someone who enjoys being close to the work - building deep relationships, shaping a proposition end-to-end and seeing the impact of their decisions.

🚫 This role is likely not for you if your recent experience has centred around:

• leading large/global teams or managing via multiple layers of managers
• overseeing multi-million-pound portfolios
• operating primarily at enterprise scale or pure strategy level
• running broad partnerships ecosystems across multiple territories

However if your sweet spot is impact, ownership and delivery, this could be a brilliant role for you!

What we need from you:

• Strong commercial mindset with proven experience developing and maximising B2B commercial partnerships - working with a major partner, e.g. OVO Energy.
• Proven track record of coaching and leading small but high-performing business development teams focused on user growth.
• Demonstrated ability to work with Tech/Product teams - shaping requirements, influencing prioritisation, and helping deliver product improvements.
• Experience in the residential energy industry.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of a P&L sheet.

It would also be great if you have:

• A passion for improving the lettings process and making renting easier for all parties
• Exceptional knowledge of the end-to-end lettings journey, especially the Move-in and Move-out process.
• Supported or influenced a product roadmap
