We're now looking for a visionary Head of Engineering to lead our tech team and help scale the software that will change how the world approaches nature risk.
What you’ll do 🚀
You’ll report directly to the CEO and work alongside our Head of Product, Chief Science Officer, and Head of Delivery. You’ll lead the technology strategy, build a world-class engineering team, and deliver a product our customers love.
You will:
- Own the technology strategy and delivery of secure, performant, scalable software.
- Build and lead a high-performing team across backend, frontend, infrastructure, and data.
- Ensure engineering excellence, balancing quality, speed, and impact.
- Drive innovation across our product, internal tools, and scientific data workflows.
- Lead security and infrastructure—including ISO 27001 certification.
- Stay hands-on—you’re just as comfortable coding and reviewing as you are with strategy.
- Collaborate at the highest levels, representing tech in executive and board conversations.
You should apply if 💡
You have:
- A proven track record as a senior engineering leader in high-growth B2B SaaS.
- Experience building and shipping complex products, including those with data science and AI components.
- Technical depth across Python, Typescript, GraphQL, AWS, and Terraform.
- A track record of enabling strong engineering culture and delivery practices.
- Experience in early-stage, fast-moving environments—and you love the pace.
- Superb people leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Bonus points for:
- Experience with geospatial data, sustainability, risk or compliance domains.
- Prior work achieving and maintaining ISO27001 in a SaaS context.
