The Opportunity
This is a pivotal, quota carrying leadership role at the heart of our global commercial strategy. We are seeking an accomplished sales leader to be the driving force for Aligne’s revenue growth across all of our most strategic regions: our home market in the UK and our key high growth market in the Middle East.
You will be directly responsible for revenue generation across all territories. Your mission is to champion Aligne’s integrated value proposition—a powerful fusion of strategic advisory and cutting-edge software that provides a complete AI governance solution. You will own the end-to-end sales cycle, from rigorous lead generation and building executive relationships to structuring and closing complex deals that encompass both our consulting engagements and software subscriptions.
This role demands an entrepreneurial hunter who can articulate a complex, multi-faceted value proposition, challenge customer thinking, and masterfully navigate a sophisticated, partner centric ecosystem to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Accountability: Directly accountable for achieving and exceeding ambitious sales quotas across the UK and Middle East markets.
- Full Cycle Sales Ownership: Own the entire sales process from initial prospecting and lead qualification to negotiation and deal closure. Effectively sell the entire Aligne portfolio, from our strategic advisory services to our SaaS platforms.
- Aggressive Pipeline Generation & Management: Proactively build, manage, and accelerate a robust sales pipeline of net new enterprise opportunities across key verticals in Europe and the Middle East, ensuring consistent deal flow.
- Alliance Driven Sales Execution: Develop and execute a unified sales strategy across the UK and Middle East, centred on our strategic alliance with IBM, ensuring co selling motions directly contribute to pipeline and closed deals.
- C Suite Deal CLOSING: Engage with C level executives as a trusted advisor, using an insight led approach to articulate the tangible business value of a holistic approach to AI governance, leading to signed contracts.
- Deal Coordination & Acceleration: Lead and coordinate the deal team (including Aligne's London based leadership and technical presales experts) to deliver compelling proposals, service outlines, and product demonstrations that accelerate the sales cycle.
- Market Presence & Lead Generation: Represent Aligne's complete vision for AI governance at industry events, partner conferences, and executive briefings in both London and Dubai, actively generating qualified sales leads.
- Accurate Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate, timely, and data driven sales forecasting and regular progress reports to company leadership, demonstrating clear insights into pipeline health and revenue projections.
Who You Are: Skills & Experience
- Proven Enterprise Sales Hunter: You have 10+ years of direct, quota carrying sales experience selling complex, $100k+ deals that blend high value professional consulting services and enterprise technology/SaaS products. You have a demonstrable track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
- Relevant Domain Expertise: Your background is in top tier consulting, advisory services, or enterprise software (ideally in GRC, Data Governance, Cybersecurity, or AI/ML platforms).
- Master of Partner Selling & Co Selling: You have demonstrable mastery of channel and alliance-based sales motions. Direct experience building pipeline and co selling with a major partner like IBM is essential.
- International Closing Experience & Network: A proven track record of closing significant deals and an established network within the UK enterprise market is essential. In addition, significant experience and familiarity with the business culture in the Middle East (UAE/KSA) is very desirable.
- The Challenger Closer: You excel at teaching clients, reframing their perspective, and creating urgency. You are comfortable challenging the status quo in a credible and constructive way, ultimately leading to a closed deal.
- Executive Presence & Negotiation Acumen: You are a polished, articulate, and confident communicator with the gravitas to build and leverage relationships with senior executives at major enterprises across different cultures to secure commitments and close contracts.
- Resilience & Adaptability: You are willing and able to travel frequently between the UK and the Middle East and are skilled at managing priorities across different time zones and markets to meet your sales objectives.
- Language: Flawless written and spoken English is required. Professional proficiency in Arabic is a significant plus.
