About The Role
At Hammersmith & Fulham, we are ambitious in reforming the council to ensure this is a place for everybody. Within the Place Department, we offer a wide range of services to help make the borough an attractive place, one that is safe, clean and green and one in which our residents take pride.
This is an exciting time for Facilities Management as we plan the Council’s return to the Civic Campus. We are looking to appoint a permanent Head of FM who will provide direction, leadership, operational management and financial control for the operational FM service.
The role will require someone who has experience of managing a diverse range of FM services across a varied property portfolio, providing the highest standards across hard and soft services, maintenance and statutory compliance, as well as refurbishment projects, whilst providing a proactive repairs service across the corporate estate.
As well as day-to-day service delivery, the candidate should also be able to lead broader service improvement and strategic projects.
An energetic, visible people manager, an ability to clearly communicate and control budgets will all be essential to ensuring success in the role.
Our mission is to be the best council. To do this we need the best people to help build our vision. If you’re looking to develop your career in a fast-paced, professional environment whilst making a difference, then we look forward to hearing from you.
