Head of Financial Reporting

We are seeking a Head of Financial Reporting for a fast-growing, Private Equity-backed business in Central London. In this key role, you’ll ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across the group and lead a junior team. This opportunity comes during a time of transformation, and you'll be instrumental in shaping the financial reporting strategy.

£80,000 – £90,000 + benefits, depending on experience

Key Requirements:

• CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified (or working towards)
• 5+ years in financial reporting or management accounting
• Experience managing and developing junior teams
• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial models
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Familiar with accruals, deferred income, and reporting processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly financial close and reporting processes
• Oversee financial journals, reconciliations, and P&L reports
• Collaborate with business units on performance and decision-making
• Prepare and deliver the Monthly Board Pack for CFO sign-off
• Ensure year-end financials are audit-ready
• Mentor and develop a team of six
• Improve financial reporting processes and drive system transformations
• Contribute to ad-hoc finance projects
