Our client is a leading investment management group with several billion USD in assets under management and offices throughout Europe and North America. We are helping the firm to recruit a Head of Finance, who will oversee the accounting, reporting and control of the firm's private equity funds and related investment vehicles.
The role will directly support the Finance Director and is responsible for managing a small team. Example responsibilities will include:
- Managing, leading and developing the fund finance team
- Reviewing the quarterly and annual fund financial statements prepared by the team
- Reviewing quarterly investor reporting (capital account / ILPA fee reporting) prepared by the team
- Reviewing and preparing reconciliations between Fund and SPVs and agreeing Management Fee amounts with Group Finance.
- Developing an understanding of the relevant reporting standards (relevant GAAPs and IFRS).
- Reviewing capital calls and distributions
- Speaking to investors and dealing with ad-hoc requests
You must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/CA, ACCA or CIMA) and experienced Fund Controller in private equity sector in London.
