Head of Marketing – Anytime Fitness UK & Ireland

Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week in the London office)

£70,000 – £75,000 per annum | Permanent

At Anytime Fitness UK & Ireland, we’re building one of the most recognisable and accessible fitness brands in the country. With over 180 clubs across the UK & Ireland and a growing franchise network, our mission is to empower healthier, happier communities while enabling our franchise partners to succeed through a strong, consistent national brand and locally effective marketing.

We’re seeking an experienced, commercially driven Head of Marketing to lead our national marketing strategy and play a critical role in the next phase of our growth. This is a senior leadership position with genuine influence, ownership and visibility, operating at the heart of our franchise model and acting as a key communicator and influencer across our franchise network.

You will be responsible for strengthening brand performance, accelerating franchise growth, and ensuring our marketing investment delivers measurable impact for both members and franchisees.

This is a strategic yet hands-on role, where your decisions will directly shape the future of Anytime Fitness UK & Ireland.

What you’ll do

• Own and lead the execution of the UK & Ireland brand and marketing strategy, balancing long-term brand building with short-term growth and acquisition objectives.
• Drive national, digital and local marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, member acquisition and retention.
• Lead franchise and network growth marketing, acting as a trusted partner to franchisees by clearly communicating strategy, sharing best practice, and providing tools, insight and guidance to maximise local performance.
• Partner with Business Development to deliver franchise acquisition marketing that contributes directly to the UK & Ireland sales pipeline.
• Own and manage the National Marketing Fund, ensuring effective forecasting, governance and clear ROI.
• Identify and activate brand, corporate and member partnerships that build brand equity and unlock new value for clubs.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing UK & Ireland marketing team, embedding strong ways of working, accountability and continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years’ experience leading integrated marketing teams, ideally within retail, leisure or franchised environments.
• Proven ability to develop and execute brand and performance marketing strategies at scale.
• Strong commercial acumen, with extensive experience owning significant budgets and driving ROI.
• Confidence influencing and communicating with franchisees, agencies and senior stakeholders in a complex, multi-site, franchised environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the presence to inspire, challenge and lead.
• Experience in franchising and/or a strong passion for the fitness and wellbeing industry is highly desirable.
• A resilient, ambitious leader who enjoys operating at pace, making decisions and being accountable for outcomes.
