Role Overview
As we continue to expand our presence in the UK & Ireland, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of PR & Events or Senior PR and Events Manager to drive brand visibility, media relations and strategic partnerships. This role will oversee Anker’s public relations, events, sponsorships, and partnerships, ensuring a unified and impactful brand presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong network in media, events and brand collaborations, with a passion for creating compelling consumer experiences
Key Responsibilities
- Public Relations & Media Strategy
- Develop and implement a PR strategy aligned with the broader marketing and brand objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media, influencers and industry thought leaders
- Manage press releases, media briefings and product launches, ensuring maximum brand exposure
- Handle crisis communications and reputation management to protect Anker’s brand image
- Monitor and report on media coverage, PR effectiveness, and brand sentiment
- Events & Experiential Marketing
- Lead the planning and execution of high-impact events, product launches and activations
- Manage end-to-end event operations, including budgeting, logistics and on-site execution
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to deliver best-in-class consumer experiences
- Identify opportunities to showcase Anker at relevant industry events, trade shows and technology expos
- Ensure all event touchpoints align with brand positioning and messaging
- Partnerships & Sponsorships
- Identify and secure strategic brand partnerships that enhance Anker’s market positioning
- Develop and manage sponsorship opportunities with key organisations, events and influencers
- Negotiate contracts and ensure partnerships deliver strong ROI and brand engagement
- Collaborate with content and digital teams to maximise partnership impact across multiple channels
- Influencer & Ambassador Strategy
- Develop and oversee Anker’s influencer marketing strategy to increase brand credibility
- Identify, onboard and manage relationships with brand ambassadors and key content creators, working closely with the social team to identify and manage key and micro social influencers
- Work with the social media team to integrate influencer-led campaigns into Anker’s marketing plans
- Budget & Performance Management
- Manage PR and events budgets efficiently, ensuring cost-effective execution of initiatives
- Track, analyse and report on the impact of all PR activations, including events and sponsorship initiatives
- Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and optimize future campaigns
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in PR, events, or partnership management within consumer electronics, technology, or FMCG industries
- Strong network in media, events and brand partnerships, with a proven track record of securing high-impact opportunities
- Experience in planning and executing large-scale events, sponsorships and influencer activations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Ability to manage budgets and drive high-ROI marketing initiatives
- Passion for innovation, technology, and creating engaging brand experiences
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
