We are seeking an experienced and strategic individual to join our small but dynamic team as Head of Product and Partnerships, on a maternity contract. In this role you’ll have the opportunity to shape important partnerships with streaming platforms, whilst driving the success of our streaming products, including our direct-to-consumer services, SVOD, and FAST channels such as Inside Crime, History Hunters and more.
As the primary point of contact for our streaming partners, you’ll manage key relationships, spot opportunities that add real value, and ensure our partners feel fully supported through close collaboration with internal teams. You’ll play a hands-on role in bringing new platforms and products to market, from leading pricing strategies and vendor management to seamless launches and app store submissions. This is a chance to make a visible impact across our products and business, working at the intersection of innovation, collaboration and customer experience.
This is a 9 month fixed-term maternity cover contract position. This role will be hybrid based in the London office, working with exciting, award-winning brands like Sky HISTORY and Crime+Investigation.
Key Responsibilities
Managing Commercial Relationships with Streaming Partners:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key partners.
- Identify and capitalise on opportunities to enhance partnerships and drive revenue growth.
- Serve as the main contact for SVOD (Subscription Video On Demand) partners.
- Address partner inquiries and issues promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure alignment between partners and our strategic goals and objectives.
Coordinating Support for External Partners with Internal Teams:
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure seamless support for external partners.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between external partners and internal departments.
- Proactively resolve issues that may arise between partners and internal teams to maintain strong relationships.
Onboarding Project Management of New Digital Platforms:
- Lead the onboarding process for new digital platforms, ensuring timely and successful integration.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful platform launches.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless platform integration and execution.
Product Management:
- Pricing Updates: Regularly review and update product pricing strategies to remain competitive and aligned with market trends.
- Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process for new products and services, ensuring thorough preparation and execution.
- Product Launches: Plan and execute successful product launches, coordinating all aspects to ensure comprehensive rollout.
- Vendor Management: Maintain and manage relationships with vendors to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of services.
- App Store Submissions: Oversee the submission process for app stores, ensuring compliance with all guidelines and requirements.
- Metadata Technical Issues: Address and resolve technical issues related to product metadata to ensure accurate and efficient data management.
- Customer Service Product Enquiries Resolution: Manage and resolve customer service inquiries related to products, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements
- 5 years of experience in product management, partnership management, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of digital platforms, SVOD services, and the digital media landscape.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and motivating cross-functional collaboration.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and internal teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficient in project management tools and software.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience in the media or entertainment industry.
- Knowledge of app store submission processes and technical requirements.
- Technical understanding of metadata and related data management issues.
