JOB PURPOSE:
The Head of Product is a strategic role within the business to ensure organisational priorities are executed effectively. This role involves managing cross-functional projects, streamlining operations, and ensuring that products and services are aligned with company goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Planning:
- Work closely with Senior Leadership Team to define organisational goals, develop strategic plans, and ensure successful implementation.
- Monitor progress on key initiatives and provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage high-priority projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of projects.
- Identify potential risks or challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
Executive Support:
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Senior Leadership Team, offering insights and recommendations on key business issues.
- Ensure clear communication and follow-up.
- Develop and maintain systems for tracking key initiatives, decisions, and metrics to support informed decision-making. Provide regular updates to the Senior Leadership Team on project statuses and organisational performance.
Operational Efficiency:
- Drive process improvements within the team to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
- Oversee special initiatives that require cross-departmental coordination.
- Oversee resource allocation for key initiatives, ensuring that teams have the necessary support and tools to succeed. Collaborate with department heads to optimise resource utilisation across the organisation.
Leadership:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation to foster a culture of collaboration and transparency.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, helping to create a high-performance environment.
- Lead internal communications relating to products, ensuring team members are informed and engaged in the company’s mission and values.
- Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and integrity, exercising discretion in all communications and interactions.
