Head of Product - FinTech - 6 Month Contract - £1000 Per Day (Inside IR35)
We are partnering with a business at the forefront of a major multi-year digital transformation, where you’ll play a key leadership role in building the next generation of financial platforms. We're looking for a Head of Product to lead the evolution of their credit and account management systems - a core part of our platform strategy.
🚀 What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead a cross-functional product team from discovery through to delivery of new platform capabilities.
- Launch new customer credit products and migrate existing portfolios to a modern platform.
- Own and manage product roadmaps, priorities, risks, and delivery plans.
- Write clear user stories and define requirements aligned to our platform vision.
- Define and implement product controls, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with engineering, business, and external partners to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Share knowledge across our Product & Engineering community to foster continuous improvement.
Must-Have Experience:
- Proven success building B2B and B2C products — ideally in FinTech or Financial Services.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Excellent prioritisation, decision-making, and backlog management.
- Ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term strategic thinking.
- Versatility across product delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
- Leadership experience with the ability to coach and mentor others.
