Head of Public Relations

A B2B financial services provider is seeking a PR Manager to join a growing team based in London. Your remit will be to design and implement proactive PR strategies to help build the global reputation of this business. The main regions being: US, UK and Europe.

Responsibilities:

In this PR Manager role, you will report into the CMO, and you will work closely with the firm’s BD team, to raise the profile of key jurisdictions.

The PR Manager responsibilities will include:

• Developing PR strategies to support in firm growth, for key practices and jurisdictions;
• Managing day to day implementation of the global media relations strategy;
• Working with the PR agencies to ensure effective media relations;
• Writing press releases and communication and press packs, and other PR materials;
• Working with on the wider marketing team on developing content for social media and digital platforms;
• Developing reports on the firm’s global media coverage.

The successful candidate will have around 10+ years of PR, preferably acquired within investment banking or wider B2B financial services. Experience of collaborating with international teams would be desirable, as well as a proven track record of developing comms plans and strategies, and managing budgets. European language skills are highly desirable for this role!

You will:

• Will have at experience working in either agency of in-house roles
• Will be passionate about financial services and have some experience of working with clients in the sector
• Will have experience of working across corporate positioning, brand building and reputation management briefs

£85-£100,000
