Our client is a leading India-based stockbroking firm specializing in Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) and high-frequency trading (HFT) firms. With a robust infrastructure and a strong track record in the domestic market, they are now seeking to expand internationally—starting with United Kingdom and other global hubs.

They are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager with a proven background in onboarding FPI clients and cultivating strategic relationships within the global HFT space. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone commercially savvy, technically fluent, and globally connected.

The Role – Senior Business Development Manager | United Kingdom

This role will focus on driving growth across international markets, particularly London and the UK, through relationship-building, deal-making, and strategic planning. You'll act as the key bridge between the firm’s offerings and the evolving needs of FPI clients and HFT firms.

Purpose and Priorities:

• Identify and onboard new FPI clients across Singapore, UK, and other international markets
• Build and nurture relationships with HFT firms and institutional trading clients
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless onboarding and client servicing

Performance and Accountability:

• Develop and execute long-term strategic business development plans
• Represent the company at key financial conferences, seminars, and events
• Stay updated with market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activity
• Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue growth KPIs

The Profile – Your Expertise

We are seeking a client-facing, well-networked business development leader who can navigate the complexity of global financial markets while driving growth and trust with elite clients.

Experience, Ability, and Knowledge:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role focused on FPIs or institutional clients
• Demonstrated success onboarding FPI clients and engaging with HFT firms
• Deep understanding of global trading products, financial markets, and technologies
• Strong grasp of regulatory compliance frameworks across jurisdictions
• Excellent command of English (additional language proficiency is a plus)
• MBA or equivalent degree from a strong academic background
• Prior experience with brokerage firms, investment firms, or exchanges is a plus
