Head of Business Development
Location: London (Hybrid – minimum 3 days in office)

A fast-growing regulatory services firm is seeking a strategic, commercially driven Head of Business Development to lead its sales function and support ambitious growth plans.
In this role, you will lead a high-performing business development team, build strategic referral partnerships, and personally drive high-value commercial opportunities. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders across product, marketing, and client delivery to shape a scalable and effective commercial strategy.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a small team of Business Development Managers
- Personally own and convert key opportunities - generated through a mixture of inbound and outbound activity.
- Build and manage strategic referral relationships
- Collaborate with marketing on lead generation and campaign execution
- Support international growth and go-to-market initiatives
The ideal candidate will have:
- A proven track record in B2B sales leadership
- Experience in financial services, compliance, or consulting - regulatory or legal technology could be ideal
- Strong stakeholder engagement and board-level presentation skills
- A hands-on, team-focused leadership style
- Strong understanding of pipeline management, CRM, and commercial strategy
