Head of Sales - Plastic Sheets Semi-finished Products

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Head of Sales to lead the Semi-Finished Products Team. This is a key leadership role with full responsibility for driving the team’s sales performance across Brett Martin’s Plastic Sheets portfolio in both the UK and international markets.

As a commercially focused, hands-on leader, you will play an active role in both guiding and motivating the sales team, while also engaging directly with key customers. In addition to leading a well-established team, you will take responsibility for managing strategic relationships with distributors and partners. This role calls for someone who can inspire high performance, deepen existing partnerships, identify and capitalise on new revenue opportunities, and drive sustained sales growth through innovative thinking and data-driven insight.

Due to logistical and operational needs, only applicants currently residing in England or Europe will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for semi-finished plastic sheets.
• Manage and grow relationships with key accounts, distributors, and supply partners.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, setting clear performance goals and support mechanisms.
• Use market intelligence and performance data to identify trends and drive strategic decision.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across marketing, production, and commercial teams.
• Directly manage a portfolio of key customer accounts, ensuring high levels of service, retention, and growth.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Sales - Roofing Products to develop and execute a unified sales strategy that leverages synergies across both product groups and maximizes overall market impact.

Required criteria

• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across domestic and international markets.
• Experience developing and executing successful sales strategies for physical products.
• Proficient in using CRM-based systems to manage customer relationships, track performance, and drive data-informed decisions
• A record of building and leading high-performing sales teams.
• Commercially driven, with a proactive and customer-focused approach.
• Proven experience in B2B sales leadership, ideally within semi-finished sheets manufacturing.
