We are now looking for a Head of Technical and Production to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 40 hours per week.

The Role
As our Head of Technical and Production, you will oversee our technical capabilities and Production Team in the successful delivery of events and performances across the Roundhouse estate.
Specifically, you will plan and deliver a programme of music gigs, corporate hires and artistic events, engaging with internal and external parties and leading external teams to deliver effective technical services.
You will also provide expert advice on budgets, procurement, equipment use and health and safety, while developing strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure operational excellence.
Additionally, you will:
- Support visiting artists, companies and producers with tailored technical guidance
- Provide input on contracts, arrangements and supplier accreditation processes
- Ensure duty production cover for all programmed Main Space shows and festivals
- Contribute to cross-departmental collaboration and organisational planning
About You
To be considered as our Head of Technical and Production, you will need:
- Experience of leading, managing and motivating a technical department in a multi-use venue
- Significant experience of technical production for produced shows and working with producers and artists
- Experience of setting and managing budgets
- The ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Strong IT skills (including Word, Excel and CAD drawing)
- Excellent communication skills
- The willingness to work evenings and weekends when necessary
- An IOSH Managing Safely qualification or equivalent experience
- To be an accredited First Aider
