At Bauer Media Audio, 80% of our commercial revenue still comes from broadcast — and we’re building the tools to make every second of airtime count.
We're on a mission to unify and modernise our ad sales and CRM platforms across nine European markets, enabling smarter monetisation of broadcast inventory while scaling our digital capability. We need a technically credible leader to guide this transformation — not by owning a revenue target, but by supporting those who do, through the right platforms, tools, and integrations.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Modernise Bauer’s Ad Tech Platforms: Oversee the implementation of cloud-based, scalable broadcast ad systems across multiple markets — starting with the UK and expanding group-wide.
- Support Broadcast Monetisation: Focus on systems that optimise ad delivery and airtime utilisation in our core linear broadcast business, while laying foundations for digital scale.
- Own the Go-To-Market Stack: Lead the technology teams responsible for CRM (HubSpot, MS Dynamics), ad sales (Planit), and the rollout of our new cloud-based AdServe Studio platform.
- Enable Smarter Selling: Ensure the systems and data pipelines are in place for campaign targeting, audience analysis, customer segmentation, and inventory optimisation.
- Guide, Don’t Sell: You won’t hold a revenue number — instead, you’ll advise, build, and integrate the tech stack that helps our sales teams do it better.
- Lead and Scale: Manage and grow four high-performing technical teams, aligning their work to Bauer’s broader commercial strategy.
What You Bring:
- Deep experience with broadcast ad technology, including tools like Planit and cloud-based ad delivery platforms.
- Strong technical grounding in CRM, ad systems integration, and commercial data pipelines
- Proven track record of supporting go-to-market teams with robust technical solutions, especially in media or broadcast industries
- Experience scaling systems across regions, ideally in a matrixed, multi-market environment
- Great communicator who can translate commercial needs into technical action
- Familiarity with audience data, inventory management, and segmentation logic
- Calm, collaborative, and focused on building trust across sales, product, tech, and exec stakeholders
