A unique opportunity to operationally head the development and delivery of the University’s Reimagining Brighton Transformation Programme consisting of a portfolio of workstreams to deliver the strategic aims and ambition of the University’s Brighton 2035 Distinctively Brighton Strategy.
Initially reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, the Head of Transformation will work with the University Leadership Group and wider university to identify and evaluate opportunities to advance the University’s strategy and vision through change initiatives that will deliver measurable business and operational improvement across our academic schools and professional services.
They will work collaboratively with the Executive and Senior Leadership Team to deliver the workstreams and will lead a team of project managers and business analysts supporting the work programmes and will ensure that change is not only effectively and timely delivered with the appropriate engagement of stakeholders, but is sustainably embedded within the University’s operating model for the future.
The Successful Applicant Will
- Have a detailed understanding of change management approaches, techniques and strategies,
- Have strong interpersonal and leadership qualities, including skills appropriate to a leadership and management position including the management, development and motivation of both teams and colleagues to inspire and secure high performance.
- Be strongly self-motivated with a positive ‘can do’ attitude,
- Have the ability to work at pace and demonstrable credibility, energy, resilience and commitment
- Have a proven ability to positively engage with stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
