Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a Head Veterinary Surgeon to join us and help lead our dedicated teams at our modern, well-equipped practice based in Maidenhead, Berkshire.
We currently employ a team of 9 vets across 2 services, several of which have either gained or are working towards advanced certificates (medicine, surgery, cardiology, ophthalmology)
🩺 We are seeking an experienced vet to fulfil the following role:
- Take clinical leadership in a 24-hour veterinary hospital setting
- Guide, mentor, and support junior vets ,nursing staff and veterinary students (Surrey University partner practice)
- Contribute to the continuous development of clinical protocols and standards
- Collaborate closely with the Practice Director and other team leaders on operational decisions
- Deliver exceptional patient and client care
✅ What We're Looking For
- MRCVS with experience in small animal practice
- Confident in leading a clinical team with strong mentoring and coaching skills
- Decisive, adaptable, and calm under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to clinical excellence and continuous improvement

- 1:6 weekend day shift
- Salary up to £74k (DOE)
