Active Vetcare Summerleaze Hospital are seeking a Head Veterinary Surgeon to join and help lead their dedicated teams at their modern, well-equipped hospital based in Maidenhead, Berkshire.
Our clinical team offers a comprehensive range of veterinary services with a fully dedicated OOH team. This large clinical team values clinical development, several of which have either gained or are working towards advanced certificates (medicine, surgery, cardiology, ophthalmology).
🩺 The Role And Responsibilities
- Clinical leadership in a 24-hour veterinary hospital setting
- Guide, mentor, and support junior vets, nursing staff and veterinary students (Surrey University partner practice)
- Contribute to the continuous development of clinical protocols and standards
- Collaborate closely with the Practice Director and other team leaders on operational decisions
- Deliver exceptional patient and client care
Rota: 4-day week, 1 in 6 weekend day
The role is based in Maidenhead but is commutable from Marlow, Beaconsfield, High Wycombe, Slough, Windsor, Henley-on-Thames, Reading, Bracknell, Ascot and other surrounding locations within Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.
