Health and Safety Adviser – London
Ant Yapi UK Ltd are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, committed and professional Health and Safety Advisor to join our London team of advisors providing advice and support to construction sites across London projects.
Job Purpose
The ideal candidate will be a driven Health and Safety professional with proven experience on major construction/development projects. Ideally, they will be located the above region and possess the NEBOSH General or Construction certificate and be able to demonstrate that they either hold or are willing to work towards gaining the NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent). The candidate must have working experience in a similar role in the UK and have good CDM2015 knowledge.
They will have experience in providing guidance and advice in line with current health and safety legislation and associated guidance to all levels of personnel. They will be able to work on Microsoft Office packages and have excellent reading, writing and communication skills, and be flexible and committed in their approach.

Key Responsibilities:
Identifying potential hazards on construction sites, assessing risks, and developing strategies to mitigate them.
Creating and updating health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring they are effectively communicated and implemented.
Providing training to employees on health and safety procedures, safe work practices, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and identify areas for improvement.
Investigating accidents and incidents, determining root causes, and recommending corrective actions.
Ensuring the workplace adheres to all relevant health and safety legislation and regulations.
Maintaining accurate records of inspections, accidents, and training, and preparing comprehensive reports.
Collaborating with management, employees, contractors, and external agencies on health and safety matters.
Keeping abreast of changes in health and safety legislation and best practices.
