Health And Safety Consultant

We’re looking for an experienced HSE Engineer, Lead, or Manager to join a next-generation avionics client on an initial 6-month contract (outside IR35).

This is a hands-on role where you’ll have real impact, ensuring safe operations, managing risk, and supporting a proactive safety culture in a high-tech aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support operational teams to plan and carry out work safely
• Lead and assist with accident, incident, and near-miss investigations
• Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments in line with UK HSE legislation and ISO 45001
• Contribute to safety communications, briefings, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate HSE records and reporting

Requirements:

• 5–10 years’ HSE experience, ideally in aerospace, aviation, or high-hazard industries
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent; ISO 45001 knowledge
• Strong practical understanding of UK HSE legislation, risk management, and incident investigations
