The Service and Team

Healthy Cornwall, part of the Wellbeing and Public Health service, delivers health improvement interventions across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The service supports residents in making healthy lifestyle choices to enhance physical and mental wellbeing. It is committed to reducing health inequalities by focusing on individuals and communities with the greatest need—particularly those in areas of high deprivation or who are socially excluded.

The Role

We are recruiting a Health Improvement Practitioner to join our team in East Cornwall:

• Permanent Role: Focused on Pregnancy and Early Years.
  
  

These roles involve delivering targeted health interventions and working closely with communities and partner organisations to improve health outcomes.

This position is subject to an enhanced criminal record disclosure check.

Working Pattern

While the role is based in East Cornwall, current Government guidance and Cornwall Council’s flexible working approach may require remote working (e.g., from home or other locations). This will be discussed during the recruitment process.
