Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) Advisor – London

£50,000-£60,000 + Benefits

A leading contractor is seeking an experienced Safety, Health & Environmental Advisor to support construction projects across London. This role will work closely with site management teams to promote best practice and ensure full compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and implement Safety, Health & Environmental requirements in line with the company’s integrated management system
• Promote a positive SHE culture across site teams and the supply chain
• Ensure Construction Phase SHE Plans and programme deliverables are in place and maintained
• Carry out regular site inspections and audits, reviewing RAMS and identifying areas for improvement
• Support site teams with high-risk activities and health-related risks
• Deliver toolbox talks and SHE training where required
• Manage incident and complaint reporting and support investigations
• Liaise with external bodies including the Health & Safety Executive

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar SHE / HSE Advisor role within construction
• NEBOSH Construction (or equivalent)
• Strong working knowledge of UK health & safety legislation
• Experience delivering training and presenting reports to management
• Relevant construction safety cards and eligibility to work in the UK
