An exciting opportunity to join Acute Cardiac Unit team based in the Royal site.

The post holder is expected to assist the Ward/Department team in providing the highest possible standard of care for patients and their families/carers.

You must be able to demonstrate experience in a hospital setting working at NVQ L2, must be signed off on the Care Certificate.

Successful applicants will be given support to facilitate professional growth and career progression. This includes being enlisted in the Band 3 induction programme. If successful, you will be a supported on ACU and welcomed to the team.

The role will involve participating in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. Participating in all aspects of patient care, you will give particular attention to pressure ulcer care, personal hygiene, toileting and feeding reporting progress and will raise any concerns to the Registered Nurse (RN). You will work collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families. You will undertake a range of skilled tasks and duties with support from the Registered Nurse. You will proactively lead in delivering all aspects of basic patient care, from admission to discharge and will take a leading role in supporting and developing more junior staff and the development of the ward.
