Healthcare Assistant

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide essential support to both adults and children in their own homes. This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same, and your care, professionalism, and commitment will have a meaningful impact.

What Will I Be Doing?

As a Healthcare Assistant, your role can encompass a variety of duties, including:

• Supporting with personal care, including continence, hygiene, and dressing
• Assisting with medication in line with care plans
• Supporting nutritional needs, including meal preparation, hydration prompts, and gastrostomy care where required
• Building positive relationships with clients through social interaction and companionship
• Maintaining accurate care records (paper and digital) and following reporting procedures
• Completing mandatory and specialist training to support your development
