At Cromer Hospital, we pride ourselves on the care patients receive and aim to provide only the very best experience. Working here, you will have the opportunity to work with all members of the multi-disciplinary team and gain new skills whilst working in a variety of specialities. We are a professional but friendly team that welcomes new ideas and experiences which contribute to being able to provide the highest standards of patient care.
The Day procedure Unit is made up of Muriel Thoms Day Procedure Unit, Allies Theatre and the North Norfolk Macmillan Centre. It has several LA (Local anaesthetic) procedure rooms, which are where minor surgery for Pain, Dermatology, Urology, Vascular and gynaecological specialities takes place, together with venesections and BCG treatments. This clinical work is supported by clinics which are either led by a specialist doctor or nurse with the support of the nursing team.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is willing to adapt to meet the needs of our service and able to support our trained staff with the above specialities. You should be able to work well as part of a team and be able to prioritise your own workload. The successful candidate will be expected to work in all areas of the department and be taught to use the specialised equipment.
Previous experience in one of these fields would be desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
