The successful candidate will conduct client conversations using empathetic listening and skilful questioning techniques.

  • Use resources such as Citizens Advice, government databases, and authorised information sources to locate, interpret, and effectively communicate relevant information to clients.
  • Determine accurate benefit entitlements, including conducting benefit checks when necessary.
  • Assist clients in exploring options and guide them through the process of starting or submitting applications as needed.
  • Internal Referral and Signposting:

Identify opportunities for internal referral or external signposting to other agencies based on client needs.

Ensure all work aligns with the organisation's office manual and complies with the Advice Quality Standard and other funding requirements as applicable.
