Norwich City Football Development is seeking a passionate and driven football coach to lead and grow our programme across
Hertfordshire while also playing a key role in delivering high-quality coaching to players aged 16-18 on our
Football & Education Programme based at Stratton Upper School.
This dual-role is ideal for an ambitious coach with strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to helping young players progress through the football development pathway.
Your Weekly Responsibilities Will Include:
Football Development Coordinator - Hertfordshire - Oversee delivery at:
- Harlow Development Centre - Mondays
- Bishops Stortford Advanced Centre - Wednesdays
- New Stratton Development Centre - Fridays
- Coach at each centre, build relationships with players and parents
- Be the first point of contact for parents, respond to emails and queries
- Monitor player progression, submit recommendations for advanced pathway opportunities
- Lead and coordinate fixtures during half terms and regular training blocks
- Lead recruitment and retention by maintaining high coaching and playing standards
Football & Education Programme Coach (Stratton) - Deliver sessions to 16-18-year-old male players on:
- Monday mornings
- Tuesday mornings
- Wednesday matchdays (fixtures)
- Friday afternoons
- Support player development both on and off the pitch
- Help prepare players for exit routes including semi-pro football, further education, coaching or employment

Essential Requirements:
- Minimum UEFA C Licence (or equivalent coaching qualification)
- Experience coaching players aged 12-18 in a structured environment
- Excellent communication and people skills
- A strong understanding of player development and progression pathways
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple centres
- Strong Administration skills
- Valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
