HFM Senior Systems Administrator & Developer

Permanent

London – hybrid working

Our established client in London is looking for an experienced HFM Senior Systems Administrator, who has HFM development experience, to join the Group Finance Systems function. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a global HFM environment within a high-performing EPM function.

You’ll lead the development, administration, and optimisation of the Group’s Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Planning systems, while collaborating with senior finance stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop the Group’s HFM consolidation and reporting system
Provide training and support to global users
Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit standards
Drive continuous improvement and best practices across Hyperion systems
Manage vendor relationships and Oracle licensing
Oversee system upgrades and change management processes
Collaborate with Financial Reporting, FP&A, and operational finance teams
Support the rollout and administration of Hyperion Planning pilot projects

Act as a senior advisor on finance systems projects and ERP integrations

Liaise with IT on infrastructure, DR, and server maintenance

Candidate Profile

We’re looking for a qualified accountant with strong technical and functional expertise in Hyperion systems, particularly:

Deep knowledge of HFM, including rules writing and live system support is essential
Experience with FDM (scripting a plus), SmartView, and Hyperion Reports
Exposure to Hyperion Planning and Strategic Finance preferred
Proven track record in project management and systems implementation
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience working with remote colleagues
Proactive, organised, and collaborative approach
