A Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) is required at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN) to work in specialist neurology, facial rehabilitation, and movement disorders services in both outpatient and inpatient settings to cover a year of maternity leave from March 1st 2026. This is a 0.52WTE (19.5hrs) post.
The post-holder will work with people presenting with a wide range of neurological conditions but will include those with Parkinson’s disease, dystonia, ataxia, facial weakness and people requiring deep brain stimulation. The work will include MDT clinics, 1:1 assessment and intervention, and groups.

You will join a team of SLTs which has a well-established system for formal / informal support and clinical / professional supervision. The SLT service has a very high profile within the multidisciplinary team of services provided.
