About The Role
Required to work within the network team on the M1A1 DBFO Maintenance contract in Leeds. Undertake various network inspections, supervision of maintenance and subcontractor works, support the operations teams with the booking of road space on the network, works instructions and various other on-site and office tasks. Be part of the on-call duty officer rota for incidents on the M1A1. Be part of the Winter Maintenance team managing winter treatments including on call decision making for gritting activities
What you'll be doing
- Network inspections to Identify defects. Identify works and create works orders. Assist with maintaining the programme of and undertake network inspections, if applicable. Assist with maintaining the defect data base. Assist with the production of the programme of works. Assist with Public and third-party liaison. Undertake network Safety Inspections. Undertake Routine and Specialist surveys including lighting patrols as required. Supervise works undertaken by workforce and subcontractors. Assist with the production of road traffic orders (TTRO/ETTRO). Carry out site audits and field inspections. Be part of the rota for an out of hours Duty Officer for Winter Maintenance and Emergency Response. Assist with the coordination with National Highways and Local Authorities. Maintain Road space requirements and Network Occupancy requirements, if applicable. Management of abnormal loads, if applicable. Deputise for Route Manager when required. Assist with the production of works estimates. Assist with the production of Carbon Calculator and Environmental KPIs
