Are you ready to make a real impact in your community? We’re looking for a skilled and dedicated
Highways Maintenance Operative to join our team in
Warwickshire – Budbrooke, working across the Warwickshire and Solihull contract.
What you'll be doing
You’ll carry out a wide range of highway construction and maintenance tasks, including:
- Pothole and patch repairs
- Footway reconstruction
- Bollard repair and installation
- Fencing, drainage, and pavement laying
- Street iron works and excavation
- Traffic management duties (Code of Practice compliant)
- Deliver operational activities safely and to a high standard
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and company procedures
- Support emergency and winter service provision
- Work flexibly to meet business needs
- Contribute to the profitability of the service through effective resource use
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Balfour Beatty professionally
- All work must be completed to high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Essential Experience
- Footway and carriageway repairs
- Highway civils and drainage
- Iron works and concreting
- Traffic management and gritting
- Kerbing, block laying, slabbing
- Plant awareness and manual handling
Desirable Qualifications
- Class 1 or 2 Licence
- NRSWA
- 12D Traffic Management T1/T2
- First Aid
- Abrasive Wheels
- CSCS Highway Maintenance
