We are currently recruiting for a Hospitality Business Lounge Host to join our team at one of our prestigious law firms in London EC4A.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 37.5 hours per week across Tuesday to Thursday, with shifts scheduled on a rota basis between 8:00am and 8:00pm.
We’re seeking a polished and personable individual with experience in hospitality or front-of-house service, ideally in a corporate, hotel, or lounge setting. You should be confident preparing and serving drinks, including barista-style coffee and basic cocktails, and be able to create a welcoming environment for both professional meetings and social interactions. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a calm and efficient manner are key.
Key responsibilties:
- Manage the Business Lounge throughout the day, ensuring cleanliness, organisation, and presentation standards are maintained
- Provide a professional and friendly welcome to all guests and clients
- Prepare and serve high-quality hot and cold beverages, including barista-style coffees and cocktails
- Replenish snacks and light food offerings at regular intervals
- Transition the space into a relaxed social lounge in the afternoon, including preparing and serving a small selection of cocktails
- Monitor lounge usage to ensure a respectful and quiet working environment
- Liaise with reception, catering, and facilities teams to manage stock, guest needs, and special arrangements
- Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally, escalating where appropriate
- Maintain excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Have experience working in a similar role and environment
- Be highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment
- Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
- Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy
- Have excellent customer service and social skills
- Be responsible for the preparation and serving of food to staff
- Have a can do attitude and will work well as part of a team of 7
- Be customer focused
- Have basic food knowledge
- Be willing to participate and enjoy working part of the team
