An exciting opportunity has arisen in the School of Computing, Business and Travel for a business teacher to join us for September.
Based in Luton, we are looking for an enthusiastic teacher willing to make a difference to the lives and careers of our learners. The successful candidate must have the capacity and ability to manage the progress of learners across all levels and support their pastoral needs, whilst monitoring course specific KPI’s.
You will join a vibrant and high-performing team, teaching across a range of FE Business curriculum programmes level 1 – 3. You must have excellent knowledge and understanding of Pearson BTEC Business units, exams and assessments. Teaching qualifications and relevant subject experience is desirable.
The team and our learners already benefit from excellent links with local employers, but any opportunity to further these links is always welcomed.
You will have an ability to promote, support and embed English and Maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching. You should also be committed to providing prompt, detailed assessment of student work with experience of personal tutoring including target setting.
This is an Hourly Paid position working at our well-equipped facilities at Barnfield College, New Beford Road Campus, Luton. We offer a supportive culture which offers excellent CPD opportunities.
