Housekeeper

Service Type: Fernside House, Mental Health Rehabilitation Service

Location: Armley, Leeds

Salary: £14,414.40 per annum /£12.60 Per Hour

Shift Pattern: 22 Hours per Week / 8:00 AM - 16:00 PM on a two-week rolling rota to include every other weekend.

Your role as a Housekeeper is dynamic and meaningful. Every day holds a new adventure, as the needs of our residents guide your activities. You'll bring your expertise in both cleaning and health and safety, ensuring that our environment is not only spotless but also fosters a sense of well-being.

Our Ideal Housekeeper

  • Ensure that all areas are cleaned to a high standard in compliance with specific cleaning guidelines and schedules and that they effectively meet the service needs.
  • Understand and comply with all statutory and legal requirements which are relevant such as Health and Safety, COSHH, fire safety, all aspects of the Care Standards Act, Infection Prevention and Control policies, procedures and measures to maintain a safe environment throughout the service.
  • Check all areas of the service are supplied with adequate housekeeping items and inform the Head Housekeeper of any shortages.

Desired Experience:

  • Knowledge and experience of working within a health and social care setting
  • Experience in ordering stock as well carrying out monthly stock checks
