dedicated and organised Housekeeper to join our friendly and supportive team.
About The Role
You will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth running of our busy neonatal service by:
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the unit.
- Managing and replenishing medical and non-medical supplies.
- Handling and moving stores and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Providing a high standard of support to clinical staff, ensuring resources are readily available.
The post holder will provide comprehensive support as a member of the Neonatal team indirectly ensuring a high standard of care for babies and their parents/carers. This is achieved through procurement of supplies, and effective maintenance of clean equipment and supplies, to reduce the risk of infection and assure quality for patient care. The post holder will make a direct and positive contribution to the work of the multidisciplinary team, the patient and their relatives in the clinical area, as well as non-clinical environments and undertake identified non-nursing duties. The post holder will be expected to organise their own workload within the constraints of defined deadlines, and will assist the multidisciplinary team in implementing, maintaining systems and processes to improve productivity. The post holder will work across both campuses of the NUH Trust.
